Kristina is a graduate of Franklin Pierce University where she is now pursuing the completion of her Masters degree in Business Leadership. As an undergraduate she majored in Arts Management with a dance concentration in hopes of maintaining her love for dance. While dancing at Franklin Pierce Kristina performed in numerous dance concerts, taking on the dancing character of Eleanor from the 1963 version of the film, The Haunting. It was also at Franklin Pierce that Kristina was given the option of performing in a student choreographed piece, which was sent to the American College Dance Festival to be adjudicated.
Kristina has been dancing since she was 7, and began dancing with the Steppin Out competition team at age 11. As a part of the team she was able to perform at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios for Disney’s Magic Music Days in Florida. She was also able to perform in Myrtle Beach for the Star Systems National Finals, where the dance “Rock Lobster” took top overall. While at Steppin Out, Kristina also participated in the year long pre-professional certificate program along side of fellow teacher Elyssa Clement. Kristina also performed in Danzjam, where she took master classes with Jacqui Young and Devon Perry.
Outside of Steppin Out Kristina has participated in the American College Dance Festival and the Pulse on Tour when she took classes with Rhapsody, Tyce Diorio, Dave Scott, Chris Judd, Laurie Ann Gibson, Brian Friedman, Luam, Wade Robson and various others. Yet, her most memorable class was with the amazing Mia Michaels where she got to experience her inspirational words and movement.
Kristina is now looking forward to working with her students during this year teaching at Steppin Out, and couldn’t be happier to be a part of the team! If you wish to contact Kritina, she can me emailed at firstname.lastname@example.org.
